Our company is in the Salmon Arm Industrial Park, and we are looking for a manual conventional journeyman machinist to join our team. We are a busy machine shop making parts for sawmill equipment and various other parts. We are a 100% manual shop.

We are looking for a manual machinist to join our team. We are a busy machine shop making parts for sawmill equipment & various other parts. 

Qualifications

• Must be able to use vertical boring machines, a drill press, lathes, milling machines.
• 2+ years experience considered an asset
• Ability to work independently
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Must be able to fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
• Knowledge in the forestry industry is a huge asset
