We are seeking a Sanitation Worker whom will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the plant inside and outside (production) according to established methods and routine.

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Outdoor maintenance 
  • Pick up papers, products and waste, pass the mechanical broom, if necessary.
  • Make sure there is no dough in the parking lot and behind the containers.
  • Ensure that the seagull gun is operating at all times, otherwise notify the mechanic or immediate superior.
  • Inform the immediate supervisor of any equipment breakdown.
  • Exterior maintenance of buildings: remove weeds around buildings and on fences, clear snow in front of front doors and emergency exits.

 

  1. Washroom & Scale Maintenance
  • Perform washroom maintenance: clean and disinfect washroom accessories; wash floors, clean dispensers; restock deodorant products, soaps, towels and toilet paper.
  • Pick up papers, products and garbage on and around the scale.
  • Ensure that it is always clean according to established procedures.

 

  1. Corridor and Cafeteria Maintenance
  • Clean floors.
  • Wash the walls if necessary.
  • Empty garbage containers.
  • Clean the sink.

 

  1. Other Maintenance
  • See to it that some minor repairs have to be carried out: replacement of burnt lights, replacement of false ceilings, doors.
  • Make sure the electrical room is clean.
  • Ensure that rodent traps are cleared and in the right place.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be autonomous and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Is able to adapt quickly to changes, prioritize and find practical and effective solutions.
  • Forklift experience (an asset).

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
