Mitrex, an Integrated solar and construction solution provider, is looking for an experienced, full-time, Receptionist to fulfill a 12-month maternity vacancy. The ideal individual will be friendly, positive, customer service-focused, articulate, professional, and detail-oriented. The individual will answer phones, provide administrative support, make purchases, manage supplies, accept and make payments, and other tasks as required. We are looking for a self-starter who has at least 2 years of administrative and front desk experience and is customer service oriented to staff, suppliers, and clients.

COMPETENCIES

  • Administrative Assistant program or administrative experience is an asset
  • Customer service experience or related business experience is preferred
  • Skilled in communication (verbal and written), strong interpersonal skills, organizational and time management skills
  • Candidate must be comfortable in a technology-dependent environment including proficiency with Microsoft Suite
  • Professional appearance and attire

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet clients and visitors, and direct them to the appropriate staff
  • Act as primary telephone contact by receiving, redirecting callers, and managing voicemail
  • Obtain, verify and record client information as required
  • Complete client service requests as needed
  • Monitor incoming email and daily work lists and distribute them appropriately
  • Provide a full range of administrative support services including filing, photocopying, incoming/outgoing mail, courier service, order/purchase supplies
  • Work with accounting to handle unpaid invoices and cheques
  • Send out product samples by courier or post
  • Receive and check all mail, and give to the appropriate person
  • Order supplies and necessities
  • Manage the employee time clock, timesheets, and paystubs
  • Create purchase orders for independent contractors
  • Create and manage packing lists
  • Other support as required
