Cash Receipts Team Lead

We are currently looking for a knowledgeable, driven Cash Receipts Team Lead to work out of our head office in Surrey, BC located at 8183 - 130th St.

 

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • Accounting diploma/certification required
  • Minimum of 5 years revenue and receivables experience in a multi-branch environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, accounting principles knowledge, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and planning skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Excellent Excel skills and Office 365
  • Experience with larger ERP system (not Quickbooks or Simply Accounting)
  • Experience with Payment Processing Software (Billtrust, High Radius or Versa Pay)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

 

Summary of Duties

  • Supervise and manage all revenue and receivables processes
  • Provide solutions to complex application of customer payments to outstanding invoices
  • Ensure that payments are reconciled to invoices and processes are executed in a timely manner
  • Review daily bank statements for customer payments and prepare bank reconciliation
  • Complete bank deposit paperwork and do bank deposit
  • Direct Contact with branches regarding Point of Sales Terminals (Moneris/Century)
  • Maintain contact with (Moneris/Century) payment solution provider for equipment and payment inquiries
  • Maintain good internal business relationships (no direct customer contact)

 

Computer Skills

  • Comfortable using a computer and able to manually process high data volume
  • Basic proficiency with  office 365, MS Outlook and MS EXCEL.

 

Communication Skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly with staff and branch locations. Good oral and written communication skills.
