We are currently searching for a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for our warehouse. The right candidate will need to have a Forklift License, be able to communicate effectively, as well as adhere to all safety standards.

Job Description:

Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies.

Checks incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information and verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

Also, examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and rectifies areas of concern; completes paperwork or forms required for documentation.

Operate equipment such as cranes, forklifts, or dollies to move, load, and unload materials within or near the facility, yard, or work site.

Requirements:

•  Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Forklift License
• Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of safety practices
• Skilled in operating forklift and/or other material handling equipment
• Physically demanding, requires long hours of standing and bending
