Summary

Under the supervision of the Divisional Sales Manager, this dual role will be responsible for expanding and building new business opportunities, establishing networks within the industry, building and maintaining valued customer relationships, negotiating deals and administering sales order management.  Prospecting and cold calling to territory customers and discussing, type, quality and quantity of filter bags required for their baghouse.

 

Qualifications

  • Completion of a College diploma in a related field
  • Previous experience in a Business Development Role
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP and CRM databases
  • Excellent sales skills and commitment to sales systems, policies, procedures and objectives
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitor behaviour
  • Ability to maintain strong client relationships and establish industry partnerships
  • Competency in negotiating and closing business deals
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in order to resolve conflicts and problems
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
  • Ability to maintain and manage quality standards
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of pertinent data
