We are presently looking for AZ Drivers 

The AZ Driver is responsible for driving, operating, and light servicing a tri-axle and tag float for paving crews. Transporting company equipment in accordance with company safety standards and the Provincial and national governing standards.

We are a fully-integrated general contractor operating in the GTA, executing projects from parking lots for our private clients to municipal roadway widenings and highway interchange replacement for our municipal and provincial partners.

 Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Floating various types of equipment
  • Completing pre-trip inspections
  • Ensuring safe delivery and pick up of equipment
  • Loading and unloading equipment safely
  • Securing and floating in accordance with Provincial and National requirements
  • Light maintenance
  • Following company policies and safety procedures
  • Completing and submitting reports as required
  • Completing various other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
  • Reporting any accidents or incidents involved in or witnessed
  • Maintaining a class of license required for the type of work performed, and maintaining a clean and clear record
  • Achieving personal targets
  • Continuous personal development

 Requirements:

  • AZ License
  • Experience would be an asset
  • Responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work with little supervision in a fast-paced work environment
  • Physically and mentally strong to manage a fast-paced work environment
  • Able to navigate throughout GTA
  • Knowledgeable understanding of CVOR

Working Conditions

  • Predominately outside work
  • Day, night, and weekend shifts are possible
  • Some holiday work may be required – dependent on paving schedules
