A Well established, family-owned plastic company in North York looking for a Machine Operator/Set-Up to join our team.

 Roles and Responsibilities

•     Assists in the production process of all plastic products by performing any combination of the following duties:

•      Receives work schedule from Production Supervisor including, but not limited to, production time-frame, production specifications           including size, weight, and quantities required and ensures in order to ensure jobs are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

• check the Production Order to ensure: A) sufficient raw materials are on hand to run the order, and food-grade master rolls are over-wrapped; B) all labels are sufficient and accurate; C) machine settings are in accordance with specified requirements.
•  Maintains the production area in a clean and orderly manner by ensuring the area around the equipment is free of clutter on an ongoing daily basis; performs all other housekeeping duties as required to maintain a clean and safe working environment. 
•   Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

•   Must have good communication skills, team player, fluent in English.
•   Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
