We currently have two exciting opportunities for a Receiving Warehouse Associate at our Portland, Oregon office, under the direction of the Warehouse Manager. This position is a fulltime permanent role with hours of work of 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday. 

Responsibilities: 

• Unloads trucks, receives all incoming materials, supplies, matching purchase orders to sales orders for distribution 

• Moving materials and items from receiving to shipping or other designated areas 

• Maintain records and prepare receiving reports 

• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, bins, according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, product code 

• Weighing and counting items for distribution within plant 

• Filling requisitions, work orders or requests for materials and distributing to designated areas 

• Operate forklift 

• Other duties as assigned 

 

Education and Competencies 

• High School diploma or GED 

 

Essential Requirements 

• Physically able to lift heavy shipments and products between 25 to 50 pounds

• Ability to operate industrial lift trucks, pallet jack, and forklifts

• Good communication skills (verbal and written)

• Detail oriented;

• Significant use of memory

• Ability to operate a computerized inventory control system

• Team player with a positive attitude

• Strong problem-solving skills. 

• One year of related experience and asset but not required as we will train;
