Regional Operations Manager, US

 

Job Overview

The successful candidates will be reporting to the Supply Chain/Operations Manager. The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and directing operations for all branches in the assigned area. All Branch Managers will report directly to the Regional Operations Manager. As management's representative to internal and external partners in this field of expertise, the incumbent will ensure that the teams maintain quality and operational performance in line with the company's expectations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all operations, ensuring they are efficient, and operating cost-effectively
  • Strengthen operational management systems, processes, and best practices
  • Monitor inventory levels; oversee warehouse & distribution efficiency
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives
  • Enhance logistics for maximum operational efficiency, cost reduction, and client experience
  • Examine financial data and use it to increase profitability
  • Manage according to budgets and forecasts
  • Work with HR Manager to recruit, train and supervise staff

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in a distribution/warehouse center
  • Leadership role preferred
  • Experience managing a high-volume multi-location distribution centers
  • Experience leading a branch team including hiring, training and motivating
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Performance metrics experience an asset
  • Warehouse Management and logistics (Fleet) experience

Working Conditions

  • High availability according to operational needs
  • Salary paid based on 40 hours/week, exempt position
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
