Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for the receipt and accounting of funds being paid to the organization. This role also serves as an auditor, ensuring that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed to account for the receipt of payment for goods and services completed by the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Applies customer payments
• Research and solve payment discrepancies
• Prepare and drop off manual bank deposits
• Prepare weekly reports
• Responds to customer inquiries, maintains good customer relations and solve problems; verify and adjust customer accounts
• Accounts payable support and related duties may be required
• Perform related clerical duties; data entry, maintain filing and record keeping systems, faxing and photocopying

Required Skills/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post secondary diploma or degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred
• Minimum two years previous AR experience is required; AR experience in a produce industry preferred
• Proven ability to work and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate keen attention to detail, as well as consistent follow-through skills
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills are essential; results oriented with a demonstrated ability to effectively plan and prioritize workflow 
• Self-motivated with the ability to work alone and in a team atmosphere
