Warehouse Associate

Position summary

If you know anything about the construction business, then you know that getting the right products to the right site, on-time and safely, are the benchmarks of success.

 

We’re looking for a self-sufficient, motivated entry level Warehouse Associate who will properly and safely stock construction materials in the warehouse, loads trucks, and carry out load securement.

Responsibilities

  • You will be diligent about pulling and loading inventory for customer pick-ups and trucks for delivery to jobsites
  • Loading trucks with multiple drop points, weights, & load securement.
  • Properly stock building materials in the warehouse and/or yard and trucks
  • Complete inventory counts as stock is received and sold, rotate stock, and properly handle damaged materials

 

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping and receiving department, loading trucks, truck weights, load securement, or similar environment.
  • Able to lift up to 100 lbs. repeatedly each day.
  • Forklift certification seen as an asset
  • Have excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must have basic math skills for inventory counts; and English verbal and written skill.
  • Fleet knowledge of loading trucks & Securement
  • Be reliable, safe and a team player
