We specialize in large scale machining, and support primarily the mining and oil & gas markets.  Our work is not repetitive as each project we build is unique.     

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate to develop and maintain database of CNC programming, tooling and maintain standardized tool centres for each machine
• Create CNC programs and determine tooling requirements for new orders.
• Coach/ assist machinists in setting up, using, and troubleshooting programs at the machine.
• Participate in weekly production meetings.
• Collaborate with the Quality Manager to develop any relevant Work Instructions.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to assist with cost estimating and project management.

Qualifications:

• Relevant technical post-secondary training, COQ 429A is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
• 10+ years in  manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable with Excel, Word, Adobe, ACAD, BOBCAD, Fusion and various technical drawing software.
• Knowledge of Heidenhain and Fanuc controls an asset.
• Documentation (Including Quality and Safety Related):
• Standard companywide training including Health & Safety Awareness for Supervisors, Accessibility for Ontarian with Disabilities (AODA), WHMIS 2015, Workplace Violence and Harassment, Quality (QMS), Administrative Procedures, Health & Safety Policies and Programs.
• All Quality Operating Procedures and Work Instructions as determined by the Quality Manager.
• Any other training mandated by the federal or provincial government.
