Warehouse Team Lead

We are currently seeking an Warehouse Supervisor for our Rexdale, ON branch, located on Bethridge Road, to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Planning, supervision and coordination of receipt, storage and shipment of product lines
• Verification of incoming and outgoing materials
• Work closely with applicable departments (sales, purchasing, etc.) to ensure the product is delivered in a timely manner
• Responsible for productivity and quality measurements and improvements in the warehouse
• Inventory control and order selection
• Serving customers when necessary
• Coordinate and assist in the development and maintenance of efficient and effective operating administrative processes and safety standards
• Assist in warehouse safety, cleanliness, and waste disposal
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs. repeatedly each day
• Forklift certification an asset
• Must have basic math skills for inventory counts
• Good verbal and written skills to be able to read purchase orders and communicate with team members

Qualifications

• 3+ experience in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping and receiving department, or similar environment
• Hazardous Materials Training
• Reliable, safe and a team player
• Proven leadership for successful day to day operation of warehouse facilities
• Forklift Certification
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
