Credit Analyst - Remote work

 

Position Summary

The credit Analyst processes credit applications and provides recommendation for approval/ denial. The Analyst supervises outstanding account balances and collects on past-due accounts.

We’re looking for a Tapered Insulation Estimator for our Surrey location who wants to help us expand our fast-growing business.

This position can be based out of anywhere in Alberta or British Columbia with 100% remote work.

 

Responsibilities

  • Process new credit applications, which will include credit investigations and make recommendations to senior credit managers for approval
  • Monitor credit limits for existing customer base as needed
  • Review orders failing credit validation to determine if they can be released
  • Make collection calls to follow up on past-due or exceeding credit limit customers
  • Work closely with the Cash Receipts department to accurately process payments as well as communicate with customers on the various payment platforms available to them
  • Provide a professional, courteous customer service experience to our internal & external customers
  • Communicate frequently with internal partners to aid in dispute resolution, account concerns, etc.
  • Complete account reconciliations as needed
  • Prepare monthly aging report

 

Requirements

  • 2 years experience in a credit/collections role, preferably in a building construction environment
  • College certificate or diploma – business related (Finance, Accounting, Administration) desired
  • Confident negotiating skills for collecting accounts in arrears
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Familiar with ERP systems
  • Ability to nurture and develop both internal and external customer relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment
