Our company was established in 1972 as a supplier to the insulation, roofing and siding industries. We are a wholly owned independent subsidiary of an international company which operates worldwide supplying millions of square metres of waterproofing, roofing and insulation systems around the world and employs more than 4600 employees world wide.


We are currently seeking an Seasonal  Warehouse Worker for our Fort St.John Branch to join our team. 

 

Job Summary:
Note: This is a safety sensitive position
• Assist with loading and unloading materials
• Pull, package and ship orders
• Assist customers as required
• Organize stock and maintain inventory
• Inspect materials for defects and damage
• Track inventory using the appropriate systems
• Organize space in the warehouse and perform cleaning duties
• Notify supervisors of problems that are not resolvable
• Restock materials as required


Qualifications:
• Worker must be able to physically perform the job functions, which includes manually lifting up to 50 to 60 lbs consistently, 80 lbs occasionally
• Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment in an independent environment.
• Transport and distribute materials and goods outdoors and within a warehouse environment.
• Maintain and organize inventory in a safe manner with attentiveness to accuracy.
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis
• Must be proficient in written and spoken English
• Must have a valid forklift operators card
• Able to pass a Criminal Background check
• Authorized to work in Canada
• Forklift Certificate considered an asset
• WHMIS Certificate considered an asset
• Able to complete a math test successfully
• Able to attend work on a regular basis as scheduled

Physical Capabilities:

• Manual dexterity, attention to detail, work indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions

Hourly Rate: $17.00
