We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager for our Building Envelope Division in Toronto and the GTA. This position will work out of the Rexdale, ON location. We offer a company vehicle, competitive salary of $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 ( based on job experience) and a  great benefits package including a Group RSP. General Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will analyze the current customer base and identify which among them could be positioned to add new product offerings to their line up and working closely with the Inside Sales team, consider all the information, to create and then present the USP to these customers. Although they are existing customers, it is actually new business development.

Job Responsibilities
• Proactively develop new accounts, by calling and visiting potential clients,
maintain major accounts
• Achieve all established sales targets
• Utilize in-house proprietary software for quotations and orders
• Work proactively with Inside Sales Representatives to maximize profitability for each client and enhance overall relationship
• Work with Regional Branch and Commercial Sale’s Manager’s to ensure accuracy and correct fulfillment of orders
• Identify market trends, maintain awareness of competitive activity in the roofing and siding industry
• Develop and maintain customer relationships with a focus on customer service
• Provide technical support
• Provide project quotations on a timely basis Maintain project files and quotation follow-up
• Develop relationships in the community, focusing on builders, roofers and renovation segments
• Make architectural and consultant calls
• Conduct job site visits on a consistent basis
• Interact regularly with our major suppliers and keep up to date on all products
• Proactively understand activities of competition and continually evaluate marketing, pricing and selling strategies
• Be aware of the market conditions; pricing, competition, competitor products, customer credit risks, etc.

Qualifications
• 2 Years sales experience within the Air Vapour Barrier & Waterproofing area of Building Construction
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Basic computer skills Word, Excel, and MS Outlook
