POSITION: BUILDING SERVICES SUPPORT - Electrician
Primarily Stratford site
Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY: Directly responsible to the Manger, Facilities Management for effectively and efficiently providing quality maintenance services as assigned.

REPORTS TO: Manager, Facilities Management


DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible


SALARY: $27.71 to $29.49 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Grade 12 education
- Licensed Electrician in the Province of Ontario
- At least five years’ experience in an industrial or healthcare environment

ABILITIES:
- Able to perform electrical/mechanical work on hospital equipment.
- Able to perform regular inspections of various systems and equipment.
- Be familiar with automated Work Order Systems.
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of a variety of equipment.
- Knowledge and ability to assist with other skilled trades such as plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, etc.
- Understanding of energy conservation theory and work towards improvement.
- Must have the ability to travel to various sites as needed.
