We are a successful casual-fine dining restaurant with locations across Canada with current openings in North Vancouver, BC. We are currently seeking Front of House  Managers to join our expanding team. The ideal candidates will have prior managerial experience, strong leadership skills, and be able to communicate positively and effectively with team members and customers.

Shift: Full-time hours; must be flexible to work some evenings (we never close later than midnight)

Your Tasks:

  • Oversee and manage Front of House (FOH) staff to ensure high quality customer service
  • Hire and train FOH staff regarding product and service knowledge
  • Lead pre-shift meetings offering encouragement to others
  • Maintain daily communication regarding menu and any service changes
  • Manage shift scheduling
  • Conduct ongoing training
  • Maintain a work environment that is fun, healthy, safe and  respectful
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any client concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to
  • Handle cash safely

We Require:

  • Minimum 1 year of managerial experience; preferably in a busy, full service restaurant, or alternatively a line cook looking for career advancement  into a managerial role
  • A valid driver’s license and vehicle
  • Excellent leadership skills and strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to lead and train staff in a positive and effective way
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work well within a team environment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Must be flexible in order to work some evenings
  • A dynamic personality who engages with internal staff as well as customers

Our Offer:

  • Competitive pay; $42,000 to $45,000 annually PLUS tips, meal allowance, benefits paid by employer and incentives!
