POSITION SUMMARY:
The Occupational Health Team at the HPHA has two Occupational Health Professionals, A Health and
Safety Business Partner and an Employee Engagement and Wellness Specialist. This team works closely with the IPAC and Quality and Risk team in a coordinated effort to provide the highest level of Patient and Staff Safety. The role provides health education, Occupational and non-occupational wellness and return to work programs & it oversees the employee vaccination program.

REPORTS TO: Director, Human Resources

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
• Current registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Diploma (DOHN) and/or Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN-C) an asset
• Current Certifications in CPR and First Aid
Experience:
• Experience in Occupational Health Nursing an asset
• 2 years recent, related experience in a Health Care environment preferred
Abilities:
• Advanced computer proficiency
• Ability to make a solid commitment to maintaining a confidential environment
• Able to work independently
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License, Insurance & reliable transportation
