NOTICE OF VACANCY
POSITION: FINANCE SUPPORT III, Accounts Receivable
Primary Site: Stratford
Regular Part-Time
(Shifts: 4-hour Days, 4 days/week (weekdays only), but may be subject to change)
POSITION SUMMARY: As a member of the Finance team, the Finance Support III will provide effective and efficient accounting support to the Finance Department. In this role, the incumbent will be primarily responsible for dealing with In-patients in regards to their various insurance and co-payment issues, in addition to assisting with various patient receivables duties.
REPORTS TO: Manager, Finance
DATE REQUIRED: As Soon As Possible
SALARY: $26.67 to $28.30 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Secondary School Diploma
- Successful completion of a 2 year Business Accounting Diploma
Experience:
- Experience with the Meditech Hospital Information System.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- A good understanding of general accounting principles
Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for Accounts Receivable customer service
- Able to interact with a wide variety of clients in order to meet their needs.
- Personal skills to deal with sensitive and stressful patient information
