Our company has been servicing Calgary and all surrounding areas for over 31 years. With over 70 employees in the field, the current iteration is a 3rd generation company that focuses mostly on multi-family and commercial plumbing and heating works.
We care about our staff, and view them as critical to our success. Many of our senior staff have worked with us long-term, 15-20+ years, and we are currently continuing to grow our team. If you are a 2nd-4th year Apprentice Plumber looking to grow within a company, than we want to hear from you!
Job Duties:

Perform tasks as directed by senior staff

Engage with the senior plumbers on site to learn how to install and repair plumbing, heating, and gas systems

Take an interest in your career – we want people who want to become journeymen, not labourers

Ask questions, participate in things on site, do not just wait to be told what to do

Communicate clearly with foremen or journeymen on needs such as additional materials, required information for the task, etc.

Participate and follow through in and on safety policy and procedure3rd or 4th years should have the ability to guide a lower-level apprentice working with them.
- Lift heavier items over 50 lbs
Qualifications:
- Bluebook and proof of apprenticeship if you are an active indentured apprentice
- Minimum 1st year apprenticeship complete
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the construction industry
- Strong enough to handle the rigours of the job – able to lift minimum 50 lbs unassisted
- Ability to deal with the stresses of the job without flying off the handle on other staff members or customers. Expressing your frustration is ok. Rage is not.
- Basic hand tools – the further you are in your apprenticeship, the more tools you will be expected to have
