Job Duties:

• Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues with agricultural equipment
• Repair and maintain agricultural machinery, including tractors, combines, and harvesters
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication
• Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems
• Utilize power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs
• Operate a crane or other lifting equipment to move heavy parts or machinery
• Collaborate with customers to understand their equipment issues and provide excellent customer service
• Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts inventory

Qualifications:

• Experience as an Agricultural Equipment Technician or similar role is preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with machinery
• Familiarity with farm machinery brands such as Massey-Ferguson, Case and/or John Deere is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
• Proficient in using power tools and other specialized equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication skills to interact with customers effectively
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
• License/Certification : *Not necessary, but preferred* Graduate in Agricultural Equipment Technician or Heavy Equipment Technician.
• 3+ years experience in Agricultural Mechanic and/or Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Salary from $27 to $42 per hour
