Bookkeeper / Accountant - Contract 18 months
We are currently looking for Bookkeeper/ Accountant for an 18-month contract for our Mississauga office. We are located near Tomken and Eglinton.
The successful candidate will be doing the complete bookkeeping and accounting for 3 companies.

Duties Include:
- Invoicing
- Receivables
- Payables
- Commission calculations
- Payroll through Payworks
- Source deductions
- HST
- Manage benefits
- Journal Entries
- Bank recs
- Full monthly financial statements
- Monthly management reports and briefings
- Quarterly and annual financial statements for accountants for audit
- Office management
- Office supplies
- Contract management
This is a Full-Time role - 5 days a week from Monday to Friday.
This can be a hybrid role where you work 3 days in office, and 2 from home. This is an 18-month contract position that may be extended.
Requirements:
- Proficient with Quickbooks Online and Excel
- Excellent communication skills for speaking with clients
- 3+ years of full cycle bookkeeping experience
- Accurate and detailed oriented
- Strong computer skills
- Able to maintain confidential information
- Ability to deal with the banks, vendors, and clients
- Able to perform collection functions diplomatically
- A good multi-tasker to keep up with this very busy position.
