We have two service Advisor positions available in our truck repair facility located in Strathroy Ontario.

1. Senior Service Advisor - previous heavy truck experience required

2. Junior Service Advisor - just great customer service and soft selling skills. Training is provided for the heavy truck skills

 

We are a family-owned and operated facility dedicated to providing comprehensive preventative maintenance services. We excel in getting tasks done right the first time and are continually expanding our offerings, which now include a mobile service truck, mobile emissions testing for heavy diesel vehicles, air conditioning services, and the latest OEM diagnostic capabilities. We have also become warranty-authorized service providers for Cummins Engines, International Trucks and Walinga feed systems.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Greet customers, assess service needs, and provide clear recommendations.
  • Provide timely updates and respond to customer communications.
  • Process payments accurately and maintain confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with the shift supervisor and technicians for accurate diagnosis and repair estimates.
  • Manage service appointments, confirm appointment times, and update the schedule.
  • Obtain repair authorizations and ensure invoice aligns with estimate.
  • Maintain a clean work area and detailed records of services performed.
  • Complete and update yard inspections, understanding the status of all units.
  • Develop an understanding of heavy truck systems and provide basic technical assistance.
 
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills by phone, email, and in person.
  • Service Advisor experience (1 year preferred) for the Senior role. Only customer service experience for the junior role.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate concepts and ideas.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment where tasks change daily.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in taking and recording notes in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills including use of Microsoft Outlook, Windows, and Internet navigation
  • Automotive experience is an asset

Shifts:
  • 4-day work week
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6am - 4:30pm
  • Friday 6am-6:30pm
 
Compensation:
 
  • Senior Service Advisor; $80,000 to $90,000 annually plus bonuses
  • Junior Service Advisor: $45,000 to $60,000 annually plus bonuses.
