THE OPPORTUNITY
If you interested in making a difference and being part of a highly skilled interdisciplinary team that includes dedicated professional practice support, GBGH wants YOU! The Physiotherapist provides physiotherapy services on an inpatient basis and supervises Rehabilitation Assistants.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Master's degree or equivalent from an approved university Physiotherapy program
  • Registration with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario
  • Currently rostered for 02 titration or willingness to roster within 2 weeks of start date preferred
  • Qualified Physiotherapy residents encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience working within neurologic, cardiorespiratory, orthopedic or geriatric populations in inpatient settings preferred
  • Self-directed, independent practitioner also willing to share clinical skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an independent practitioner while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Excellent clinical, decision making and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced working environment
  • Demonstrated consistent punctuality and attendance record, maintaining a high level of reliability and commitment to performing duties with efficiency and effectiveness in previous roles
  • Commitment to GBGH Values and Purpose Statement
  • As a partially designated French speaking organization, French verbal and written communication skills are considered an asset in this position

  • Salary $40.36 - $56.30 an hour, plus a generous vacation allotment in accordance with the OPSEU Collective Agreement

HOURS OF WORK
Full Time. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements and as per the OPSEU collective agreement.
