The focus of this new role is implementation of lean manufacturing principles/processes and mentoring/training a growing workforce.

To be successful in this role:

• mechanically inclined, precision-orientated, understand the basics of lean manufacturing.
• 2+ years of experience in fabrication/assembly operation.

Overview of Responsibilities:

This is a key role and responsible for the fabrication shop. Responsibilities include leading, mentoring, and training fabrication employees, ensuring all assigned work conform to policies relating to safety, quality, time and productivity. This person will also fabricate in the shop or carry out other special projects as assigned by management.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for ensuring ECI’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) Program is adhered to.
• Conduct daily meetings. 
• Provides Values-Based leadership and direction to fabrication employees including leading by example when working in the shop beside them.
• Maintain clean and safe workplace.
• Ensure shop equipment is properly tagged and sent to repair facilities as soon as it needs maintenance or calibration.
• Collect daily data on productivity and production rates. Review data to ensure all equipment is running at maximum efficiency.
• Manage all aspects of the fabrication shop (shipping, receiving) maintenance records. 
• Providing insight to improve productive.
