BRAKE PRESS OPERATOR

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Brake Press Operator is responsible for operating our fully automated presses, including making program changes in order to manufacture quality products. S/he maintains equipment including preventative and repairs, while preparing daily production sheets and quality control documents.

REQUIREMENTS:

· 1+ years related experience in manufacturing, preferably in metal forming or shaping

· Some experience of brake press operating and programming

· Ability to read and understand drawings

· Experience operating forklift and overhead crane; certification an asset (will train if needed)

· Working knowledge of hand and power tools

· Experience with plasma cutting and welding

· Mechanically inclined, to perform minor repairs or corrective actions

· Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively

· High attention to detail
