Shipper & Receiver

We are a global supplier and manufacturer of industrial and explosion-proof unit heaters and thermostats for hazardous and severe duty locations. The primary function is Shipping and Receiving as a member of the manufacturing division

Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Reads and interprets Detailed Work Instructions
• Load trucks
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of loads.
• Inspect and verify incoming product.
• Unload incoming material/product and store in designated areas.
• Cleans, QC’s and checks component parts for any defects.
• Organize space in warehouse.
• Ensures forklifts and charging stations are maintained.
• Operate forklift and follow all safety requirements.
• Familiar with computers and basic Microsoft Office application programs, such as Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Assist in completion of inventory audits.
• To take reasonable care to protect the health and safety of him/herself and of other workers present while at work and cooperate with the employer for the purpose of protecting the health and safety of him/herself and other workers.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid grade 12 diploma.
• Work experience in a manufacturing environment preferably weld shop.
• Forklift License would be an asset.
• Above average communication skills.
• Experience in an ISO certified company is an asset.

We Offer:
