The Personal Lines team is growing, and the client is looking to hire a Personal Lines Insurance Broker, but you must have a minimum of 3 previous years of experience.
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for providing outstanding day-to-day service to clients
  • Handling the client file activities to maintain retention targets
  • Acquiring expiry dates at time of policy renewal(s)
  • Refer to leads to place potential new business
  • Attain premium growth targets by cross selling, up selling appropriate coverages as well as  New Business
  • Binds accounts/coverage with insurer
  • Maintain professional relationships with key underwriters to ensure maximization of new business growth
  • Retention
 
Requirements:
  • Valid RIBO license is required
  • OR the desire and ability to acquire your license within 3 months
  • 3+ year’s Personal Insurance experience
  • CIP, FCIP, or CAIB designation, or working towards completion is considered an asset
  • Strong analytical, organization, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to and work collaboratively with various individuals
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with Broker Management
  • Previous experience with TAM or EPIC and rating engines an asset
