POSITION: MANAGER, MATERIALS MANAGEMENT
Alliance-Wide
Full-Time 

POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager, Materials Management provides overall management of the materials management staff, and is responsible for the efficient and effective day to day operation of the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance’s Materials Management Services.

DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
- Degree or Diploma in business or a related field required
- Professional Purchaser Designation (C.P.P) required

Experience:
- 3-5 years of current Management experience in a healthcare or Industrial Purchasing department
- Experience in working in a computerized Purchasing and Inventory Control System environment
- Experience in developing business cases and business solutions
- Experience in developing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and subsequent processes

Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively to staff at all levels
- Demonstrates a high level of integrity and ethical decision making
- Mature, flexible, organized and self-directed
- Able to identify issues and opportunities
- Able to effectively and efficiently manage financial operations and issues
- Strong negotiation skills
- Team-focused with a systems approach
- Computer-literate in Meditech and Microsoft Office applications as a minimum software usage
